Inputs and Outputs

The kX Mixer Inputs and Outputs page allows control of the following discreet inputs and outputs (note that depending on the model of your soundcard, some of these inputs may not be displayed):

Outputs:

Analog Front
This slider controls the level of the front speakers in analog mode (stereo).

Analog Rear
This slider controls the level of the rear speakers in analog mode (stereo).

Analog Center
This slider controls the level of the center speaker in analog mode (5.1 and Audigy cards only).

Analog Subwoofer
This slider controls the level of the subwoofer speaker in analog mode (5.1 and Audigy cards only).

SPDIF
This slider controls the playback level of the SPDIF output (stereo digital)

Phones
This slider controls the playback level of the Headphones output (stereo analog - LiveDrive only).

A1/A2 Out
This slider controls the level of the Analog-1 and Analog-2 outputs (stereo analog - APS only)

A3/A4 Out
This slider controls the level of the Analog-3 and Analog-4 outputs (stereo analog pair - APS with MOC card only)

A5/A6 Out
This slider controls the level of the Analog-5 and Analog-6 outputs (stereo analog pair - APS with MOC card only)

A7/A8 Out
This slider controls the level of the Analog-7 and Analog-8 outputs (stereo analog pair - APS with MOC card only)

Inputs:

AC97 In
This slider controls the level of the input from the AC97 Codec (analog mono & stereo sources).

CD Digital In
This slider controls the level of the CD Digital input (stereo digital SPDIF).

Unknown 1 In
This slider controls the level of the Unknown 1 input (stereo digital).

Unknown 2 In
This slider controls the level of the Unknown 2 input (stereo digital).

Mic2 In
This slider controls the level of the Mic2 input (mono analog - LiveDrive only).

Coaxial In
This slider controls the level of the Coaxial/Optical input (stereo digital - LiveDrive only).

Aux2 In
This slider controls the level of the Auxiliary-2 input (stereo analog - LiveDrive only).

A1/A2 In
This slider controls the level of the Analog-1 and Analog-2 inputs (stereo analog pair - APS only).

A3/A4 In
This slider controls the level of the Analog-3 and Analog-4 inputs (stereo analog pair - APS with Edrive only).

D1 In
This slider controls the level of the Digital-1 input (stereo digital - APS only)

D2 In
This slider controls the level of the Digital-2 input (stereo digital - APS with Edrive only)
